- Sorry, but TV stations do /not/ use *BetaMAX*, that was a consumer format.
- There is a professional format BetaCam SP. That is what you may be refering
- to. I do not know the ancestry and how the formats are related (other than
- they are both made by Sony), but they are not the same thing.
